University Baptist Church is governed by cooperative teams that serve our church and the community at large.

The Worship Team is a collaborative effort with our pastor and minister of music in the scheduling, planning and delivery of a holistic worship experience for our members, friends and visitors.
The Congregational Care Team facilitates contact with UBC family and friends to meet needs and encourage community.
The Learning and Play Team supports the value of learning, spiritual growth, and camaraderie by planning and orchestrating educational and play programs including classes, retreats, parties, outings, service projects, etc. for age-focused groups as well as for mixed-generation groups. The Hospitality Team welcomes people to worship and provides for fellowship following worship as well as facilitating other meal and community functions at the church.

The Finance Team monitors the financial health of the church by developing and tracking the annual budget with input from teams.
The Communications Team ensures timely and effective communications, including the newsletter, website, other social media, press releases, bulletin announcements, emails, mailings, and announcements during worship, among others. Contact the Communications Team at .

The Peace, Justice & Reconciliation Team coordinates congregational involvement in peace, social justice and reconciliation by leading the congregation by discerning our mission focus and considering mission opportunities. The Coordinator of Volunteers consults with Stewardship Council to recruit and train officers and team leads while also assisting in recruiting volunteers for various tasks throughout the year. Please email for more information.
